SOME PEOPLE ARE SO STUPID THINKING THAT THEY ARE EQUAL TO THE MOST HIGH GOD OF HEAVEN.AND THINKING THAT THEY HAVE THE DNA OF THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON OF GOD WHO CAME TO EARTH AND BECAME JESUS THE CHRIST. THE ONLY PERSON TO BE EQUAL TO THE MOST HIGH GOD IS JESUS {YESHUA}{YESUS} CHRIST OF NAZARETH., OF WHO HE IS . WE ALL KNOW THAT THERE IS NO LETTER {J} IN THE HEBREW LANGUAGE ALPHBETH , SO THEY USE THE LETTER {Y} AND SO WE SAY JEHOVAH WHILE SOME SAY {YEHOVAH} WE HAVE YAHWEH THE MOST HIGH GOD .THERE WAS A TIME YEARS AGO , WHEN PEOPLE HAD RESPECT FOR THE LORD OUR GOD. .

THE TRUE GOD OF HEAVEN WHERE FATHER GOD LIVES ,HE DID NOT COME OUT OF DARKNESS

DARKNESS WAS ONLY CREATED FOR THE PEOPLE OF THE EARTH ,WHERE TIME IS INTO PLACE.

SO THAT AT NIGHTS, PEOPLE COULD GO TO BED AND REST AND SLEEP.

AND AS THIS WORLD SPIN IN SPACE, THE EARTH SPIN AROUND THE SUN.

SO IN SOME COUNTRIES WHILE IT IS FOR INSTANCE EXAMPLE IN THE UK WHEN IT IS EVENING  IN THE UK IT IS MORNING IN AUSTRALIA THE FOLLOWING DAY. AND . JUST LIKE HOW WE SEE THE SUN AND THE MOON INTO SPACE, AND ALL THE PLANETS  ALL INTO  SPACE ,AND HELD UP BY THE POWER OF ALMIGHTY GOD,

OUR EARTH IS INTO SPACE  AS THE WORLD IS ROUND  .

AND WHEN THE PEOPLE UP INTO SPACE OR ON THE MOON LOOK DOWN , THEY SEE THIS ROUND PLANET EARTH IN SPACE AND EVEN SPACE UNDER THE EARTH.

WHEN WE LOOK UP INTO THE SKY  WE SEE THE SUN OR MOON ALL ROUND IN SHAPE  APART FROM THE FULL MOON OR NEW MOON WHEN ONLY APART OF THE MOON SHOW ITS SHAPE .

THE TRUE GOSPEL {GOOD NEWS} OF JESUS THE CHRIST THE MESSIAH IS NOT THE GOSPEL OF PROSPERITY AND MONEY CHANGERS IN THE HOUSE OF GOD.

BECAUSE THEY DO NOT PREACH THE TRUE GOSPEL OF HOW FATHER GOD HATES SIN AND WANTS THE PEOPLE OF THE EARTH TO TURN AWAY FROM THEIR SINS  AND START TO WORSHIP THE TRUE GOD OF HEAVEN.

WE ARE ALL SINNERS BECAUSE OF THE SIN OF ADAM THE FIRST MAN  TO SIN  AGAINST GOD ,  A  CURSE CAME UPON THE EARTH ,AND WE ALL KNOW THAT THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH , THE SOUL THAT SINETH IT SHALL DIE  ,WHICH MEANS GOD WILL DISTROY IN HELL FIRE . EVERY BODY HAS A SOUL , THE SOUL IS THE INNER PART OF A PERSON,  WE ALL HAVE A PHYSICAL BODY, AND A SPIRITUAL BODY WITH A SPIRIT  BODY, WE HAVE BODY, SOUL AND SPIRIT. THE SOUL CANNOT DIE, EVEN THOUGH IT SAYS THE SOUL THAT SINNETH IT SHALL DIE.  IT LIVES FOREVER IN  THE LIGHT WITH GOD, OR GOD PUNISH THAT SOUL IF THEY DIE IN THEIR SINS.  BUT THE WAY OUT IS TO REALIZE THAT YOU ARE A SINNER AND NEED JESUS CHRIST TO BE YOUR LORD AND SAVIOUR.

AND BECAUSE JESUS DIED AND SHED HIS PRECIOUS BLOOD  FOR REMISSION OF SIN.AND A PERSION IS REDEEM  AND NOT CURSED. IT MEANS WE ARE NOT OUR OWN , BECAUSE JESUS BOUGHT US FOR A PRICE.

JESUS ALSO  SAID THAT NO ONE CAN COME TO GOD THE FATHER, EXCEPT THROUGH HIM.HE SAID THAT THERE IS NO OTHER WAY UNDER HEAVEN  BECAUSE HE IS THE ONLY WAY AND THE TRUTH AND ETERNAL LIFE.

PEOPLE SAY THERE ARE MANY WAYS TO GOD THE FATHER, BUT THIS IS NOT TRUE, ONLY THROUGH JESUS CHRIST THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD. JESUS CHRIST OF NAZARETH  THIS IS WHY THE DEVIL HATES JESUS AND ANY ONE WHO BELONG TO HIM.

THE JEWS DID NOT REALIZED THAT JESUS CHRIST WAS THE MESSIAH AND ANOINTED ONE. SOME PEOPLE SAY THAT JESUS CHRIST IS ONLY A PROPHET, THIS IS NOT TRUE.

THEY     SAY THAT BECAUSE THEY DO NOT KNOW WHERE JESUS CAME FROM.OR WHO JESUS IS.JESUS CHRIST WAS LIVING IN HEAVEN BEFORE THE FOUNDATION OF THIS WORLD OUR WORLD.WAS CREATED.

FATHER GOD DOES NOT LIVE IN HEAVEN ALL BY HIMSELF,

THE BIBLE SAYS THAT THERE ARE 3 THAT BEAR WITNESS IN HEAVEN , THE FATHER AND THE SON AND THE HOLY SPIRIT, YES GOD HAS ONLY ONE BEGOTTEN SON.

THE ANGELS ARE SONS OF FATHER GOD , BUT HE ONLY HAS ONE BEGOTTEN SON  WHO IS EQUAL IN POWER TO HIM. WE ALSO HAS THE HOLY SPIRIT ,WE HAVE GOD THE FATHER AND GOD THE SON AND GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT . GOD IS A PERSON OF ORDER AND HE IS A SPIRIT PERSON , SO FATHER GOD IS THE HEAD IN CHARGE AND HE TELL HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN WHAT TO DO, AND HE ALSO TELLS THE HOLY SPIRIT WHAT TO DO.

THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE COMFORTER WHICH BRINGS COMFORT TO THE PEOPLE OF JESUS CHRIST,EVEN WHEN THEY ARE PERSCUTED.THERE WAS A TIME IN HISTORY WHEN THE  CRUSADERS WHO SAY THAT THEY WERE CHRISTIANS  AND OF CHRIST WENT TO COUNTRIES AND TRY TO FORCE THEM TO CONVERT TO CHRISTIANITY

BUT THE REAL JESUS CHRIST DOES NOT FORCE ANY ONE TO SERVE HIM . JESUS TOLD HIS FOLLOWERS TO GO YE INTO ALL THE WORLD AND PREACH THE GOOD NEWS OF THE KINGDOM OF GOD AND THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS AT HAND.TELLING PEOPLE TO REPENT OF THEIR SINS AND TURN TO THE LIVING GOD. AND BE BORN AGAIN JESUS SAID, BORN OF THE WATER THE SPIRIT AND THE BLOOD.  JESUS CHRIST IS A JEWISH MAN, AND WHEN HE COMES BACK TO EARTH TO JUDGE THE WORLD HE WILL BE KING JESUS REIGNS ON THE THRONE OF KING DAVID. SO A  JEW WILL RULE THE WORLD

{ELOHIM} IS GOD THE FATHER AND GOD THE SON AND GOD THE HOLY SPIRIT.THEY CREATED ALL THINGS ,FATHER GOD TELLS JESUS WHAT TO DO AND HE DOES IT .THE 3 OF THEM THEY ARE SPIRIT PERSON ,THE HOLY  SPIRIT IS NOT A  BIRD OR WIND EVEN THOUGH IT CAN REVEAL ITSELF THAT WAY. THE HOLY SPIRIT IS THE SPIRIT THAT CONVICTS  A PERSON OF THEIR SINS,AND THAT PERSON CONFESS WITH THEIR MOUTH WEATHER QUIETLY OR LOUDLY, LORD JESUS  I BELIEVE IN MY HEART THAT YOU ARE THE SON OF THE LIVING GOD. AND I BELIEVE THAT YOU WERE CRUCIFIED  AND YOU DIED AND PUT INTO THE SULPHPURE {GRAVE} BUT ON THE THIRD DAY, GOD PUT BACK YOUR SPIRIT INTO YOUR PHYSICAL BODY AND YOU CAME BACK TO LIFE, BECAUSE YOUR PRECIOUS BLOOD PAID THE PRICE FOR MY SINS, AND CLEANSE ME. JESUS IS DIVINE AND HOLY, HE HAD NEVER SIN, HE WAS NOT MARRIED TO ANY ONE AND HE DID NOT HAVE ANY CHILDREN.

JESUS DID NOT DIRTY HIMSELF  WITH ANY SIN, HE WAS PURE AND LIVE A HOLY LIFE.

SO A PERSON PRAY TO GOD ANY WHERE THEY ARE, YOU DO NOT NEED A PRIEST OF MINISTER JUST YOU AND GOD  ASK THE LORD TO FORGIVE YOUR SINS , BECAUSE I REPENT OF MY SINS. AND AM SORRY THAT I SIN AGAINST YOU. COME INTO MY HEART NOW LORD JESUS  AND BE THE LORD OF MY LIFE. I BELIEVE YOU ARE THE SON OF GOD AND THAT YOU ROSE FROM THE GRAVE ,  A PERSON CAN DO IT IN PUBLIC AT A CHURCH OR ANY WHERE AND GET WATER BAPTIZED,IT IS AMAZING THAT THINGS ARE EASIER THESE  DAYS BECAUSE IF SOME ONE HAVE HELP  A PERSON SITTING IN A BATH TUB OF SOMEWHERE  WHERE THE WATER IS SAFE AND NOT A DANGER. CAN GET BAPTIZED  WITH CLOTHES ON.

THERE HAS TO BE RIGHTEOUSNESS IN THE CHURCH AND WITH THE FOLLOWERS OF JESUS CHRIST

IN THE OLD TESTAMENT OF THE SCRIPTURES IN THE HOLY BIBLE . THERE WAS A MAN NAME ELI WHO WAS A PRIEST IN THE HOUSE OF GOD, HE HAD 2 SONS. APART  FROM OFFERING THE BEST ANIMAL  ON THE ALTAR TO GOD , THEY KEPT THE BEST FOR THEMSELVES AND OFFER TO GOD THAT WHICH WAS NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

AND ANOTHER THING THAT THEY DID, THEY WERE SLEEPING AND HAVING SEXUAL AFFAIRS WITH THE WOMEN IN THE CONGRELATION IN THE CHURCH SINNING OF ADULTERY AND FORFICATION, ADULTARY IS WHEN ONE OF BOTH PEOPLE IS MARRIED.

AND IF A PERSON IS NOT MARRIED AND IS SINGLE AND DO THE SIN OF FORNICATION. IN THE EYES OF GOD IT IS A SIN..

BUT MOST OF ALL ,HOW CAN A MINISTER OR PREACHER OF THE GOSPEL OF THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN OR OF GOD BE SLEEPING AND HAVING   THIS TYPE OF LIVING.

JESUS CHRIST SAYS TO US . BE YE HOLY AS MY FATHER IN HEAVEN IS HOLY.

WWW.JOB {JOBE} 1 {KJV} and {Job 42} {Jobe 42}

 Job 1

There was a man in the land of Uz, whose name was Job; {JOBE}and that man was perfect and upright, and one that feared God, and eschewed evil.

And there were born unto him seven sons and three daughters.

His substance also was seven thousand sheep, and three thousand camels, and five hundred yoke of oxen, and five hundred she asses, and a very great household; so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the east.

And his sons went and feasted in their houses, every one his day; and sent and called for their three sisters to eat and to drink with them.

And it was so, when the days of their feasting were gone about, that Job sent and sanctified them, and rose up early in the morning, and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all: for Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned, and cursed God in their hearts. Thus did Job continually.

Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan came also among them.

And the Lord said unto Satan, Whence comest thou? Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, From going to and fro in the earth, and from walking up and down in it.

And the Lord said unto Satan, Hast thou considered my servant Job, that there is none like him in the earth, a perfect and an upright man, one that feareth God, and escheweth evil?

Then Satan answered the Lord, and said, Doth Job fear God for nought?

10 Hast not thou made an hedge about him, and about his house, and about all that he hath on every side? thou hast blessed the work of his hands, and his substance is increased in the land.

11 But put forth thine hand now, and touch all that he hath, and he will curse thee to thy face.

12 And the Lord said unto Satan, Behold, all that he hath is in thy power; only upon himself put not forth thine hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.

13 And there was a day when his sons and his daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house:

14 And there came a messenger unto Job, and said, The oxen were plowing, and the asses feeding beside them:

15 And the Sabeans fell upon them, and took them away; yea, they have slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.

16 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The fire of God is fallen from heaven, and hath burned up the sheep, and the servants, and consumed them; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.

17 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, The Chaldeans made out three bands, and fell upon the camels, and have carried them away, yea, and slain the servants with the edge of the sword; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.

18 While he was yet speaking, there came also another, and said, Thy sons and thy daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother's house:

19 And, behold, there came a great wind from the wilderness, and smote the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young men, and they are dead; and I only am escaped alone to tell thee.

20 Then Job arose, and rent his mantle, and shaved his head, and fell down upon the ground, and worshipped,

21 And said, Naked came I out of my mother's womb, and naked shall I return thither: the Lord gave, and the Lord hath taken away; blessed be the name of the Lord.

22 In all this Job sinned not, nor charged God foolishly.===========================

--------------------------------------------------------------

There was a man in the land of Uz whose name was Job; and that man was blameless and upright, and one who [reverently] feared God and abstained from and shunned evil [because it was wrong].

And there were born to him seven sons and three daughters.

He possessed 7,000 sheep, 3,000 camels, 500 yoke of oxen, 500 female donkeys, and a very great body of servants, so that this man was the greatest of all the men of the East.

His sons used to go and feast in the house of each on his day (birthday) in turn, and they invited their three sisters to eat and drink with them.

And when the days of their feasting were over, Job sent for them to purify and hallow them, and rose up early in the morning and offered burnt offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said, It may be that my sons have sinned and cursed or disowned God in their hearts. Thus did Job at all [such] times.

Now there was a day when the sons (the angels) of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan (the adversary and accuser) also came among them.

And the Lord said to Satan, From where did you come? Then Satan answered the Lord, From going to and fro on the earth and from walking up and down on it.

And the Lord said to Satan, Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who [reverently] fears God and abstains from and shuns evil [because it is wrong]?

Then Satan answered the Lord, Does Job [reverently] fear God for nothing?

10 Have You not put a hedge about him and his house and all that he has, on every side? You have conferred prosperity and happiness upon him in the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.

11 But put forth Your hand now and touch all that he has, and he will curse You to Your face.

12 And the Lord said to Satan (the adversary and the accuser), Behold, all that he has is in your power, only upon the man himself put not forth your hand. So Satan went forth from the presence of the Lord.

13 And there was a day when [Job’s] sons and his daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother’s house [on his birthday],

14 And there came a messenger to Job and said, The oxen were plowing and the donkeys feeding beside them,

15 And the Sabeans swooped down upon them and took away [the animals]. Indeed, they have slain the servants with the edge of the sword, and I alone have escaped to tell you.

16 While he was yet speaking, there came also another and said, The fire of God (lightning) has fallen from the heavens and has burned up the sheep and the servants and consumed them, and I alone have escaped to tell you.

17 While he was yet speaking, there came also another and said, The Chaldeans divided into three bands and made a raid upon the camels and have taken them away, yes, and have slain the servants with the edge of the sword, and I alone have escaped to tell you.

18 While he was yet speaking, there came also another and said, Your sons and your daughters were eating and drinking wine in their eldest brother’s house,

19 And behold, there came a great [whirlwind] from the desert, and smote the four corners of the house, and it fell upon the young people and they are dead, and I alone have escaped to tell you.

20 Then Job arose and rent his robe and shaved his head and fell down upon the ground and worshiped

21 And said, Naked (without possessions) came I [into this world] from my mother’s womb, and naked (without possessions) shall I depart. The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away; blessed (praised and magnified in worship) be the name of the Lord!

22 In all this Job sinned not nor charged God foolishly.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

42 Then Job said to the Lord,

I know that You can do all things, and that no thought or purpose of Yours can be restrained or thwarted.

[You said to me] Who is this that darkens and obscures counsel [by words] without knowledge? Therefore [I now see] I have [rashly] uttered what I did not understand, things too wonderful for me, which I did not know.

[I had virtually said to You what You have said to me:] Hear, I beseech You, and I will speak; I will demand of You, and You declare to me.

I had heard of You [only] by the hearing of the ear, but now my [spiritual] eye sees You.

Therefore I loathe [my words] and abhor myself and repent in dust and ashes.

After the Lord had spoken the previous words to Job, the Lord said to Eliphaz the Temanite, My wrath is kindled against you and against your two friends, for you have not spoken of Me the thing that is right, as My servant Job has.

Now therefore take seven bullocks and seven rams and go to My servant Job and offer up for yourselves a burnt offering; and My servant Job shall pray for you, for I will accept [his prayer] that I deal not with you after your folly, in that you have not spoken of Me the thing that is right, as My servant Job has.

So Eliphaz the Temanite and Bildad the Shuhite and Zophar the Naamathite went and did as the Lord commanded them; and the Lord accepted [Job’s prayer].

10 And the Lord turned the captivity of Job and restored his fortunes, when he prayed for his friends; also the Lord gave Job twice as much as he had before.

11 Then there came to him all his brothers and sisters and all who had known him before, and they ate bread with him in his house; and they sympathized with him and comforted him over all the [distressing] calamities that the Lord had brought upon him. Every man also gave him a piece of money, and every man an earring of gold.

12 And the Lord blessed the latter days of Job more than his beginning; for he had 14,000 sheep, 6,000 camels, 1,000 yoke of oxen, and 1,000 female donkeys.

13 He had also seven sons and three daughters.

14 And he called the name of the first Jemimah, and the name of the second Keziah, and the name of the third Keren-happuch.

15 And in all the land there were no women so fair as the daughters of Job, and their father gave them inheritance among their brothers.

16 After this, Job lived 140 years, and saw his sons and his sons’ sons, even to four generations.

17 So Job died, an old man and full of days.

Psalms
Chapter 27

1(A Psalm of David.) The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

2When the wicked, even mine enemies and my foes, came upon me to eat up my flesh, they stumbled and fell.

3Though an host should encamp against me, my heart shall not fear: though war should rise against me, in this will I be confident.

4One thing have I desired of the LORD, that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the LORD all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the LORD, and to enquire in his temple.

5For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.

6And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the LORD.

7Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.

8When thou saidst, Seek ye my face; my heart said unto thee, Thy face, LORD, will I seek.

9Hide not thy face far from me; put not thy servant away in anger: thou hast been my help; leave me not, neither forsake me, O God of my salvation.

10When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.

11Teach me thy way, O LORD, and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.

12Deliver me not over unto the will of mine enemies: for false witnesses are risen up against me, and such as breathe out cruelty.

13I had fainted, unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.

14Wait on the LORD: be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.

WWW.PSALM 51 AMPC

 Psalm 51

Psalm 51

To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David; when Nathan the prophet came to him after he had sinned with Bathsheba.

Have mercy upon me, O God, according to Your steadfast love; according to the multitude of Your tender mercy and loving-kindness blot out my transgressions.

Wash me thoroughly [and repeatedly] from my iniquity and guilt and cleanse me and make me wholly pure from my sin!

For I am conscious of my transgressions and I acknowledge them; my sin is ever before me.

Against You, You only, have I sinned and done that which is evil in Your sight, so that You are justified in Your sentence and faultless in Your judgment.

Behold, I was brought forth in [a state of] iniquity; my mother was sinful who conceived me [and I too am sinful].

Behold, You desire truth in the inner being; make me therefore to know wisdom in my inmost heart.

Purify me with hyssop, and I shall be clean [ceremonially]; wash me, and I shall [in reality] be whiter than snow.

Make me to hear joy and gladness and be satisfied; let the bones which You have broken rejoice.

Hide Your face from my sins and blot out all my guilt and iniquities.

10 Create in me a clean heart, O God, and renew a right, persevering, and steadfast spirit within me.

11 Cast me not away from Your presence and take not Your Holy Spirit from me.

12 Restore to me the joy of Your salvation and uphold me with a willing spirit.

13 Then will I teach transgressors Your ways, and sinners shall be converted and return to You.

14 Deliver me from bloodguiltiness and death, O God, the God of my salvation, and my tongue shall sing aloud of Your righteousness (Your rightness and Your justice).

15 O Lord, open my lips, and my mouth shall show forth Your praise.

16 For You delight not in sacrifice, or else would I give it; You find no pleasure in burnt offering.

17 My sacrifice [the sacrifice acceptable] to God is a broken spirit; a broken and a contrite heart [broken down with sorrow for sin and humbly and thoroughly penitent], such, O God, You will not despise.

18 Do good in Your good pleasure to Zion; rebuild the walls of Jerusalem.

19 Then will You delight in the sacrifices of righteousness, justice, and right, with burnt offering and whole burnt offering; then bullocks will be offered upon Your altar.

WWW.JUDE 1 {gnb} GOOD NEWS BIBLE

From Jude, servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James —

To those who have been called by God, who live in the love of God the Father and the protection of Jesus Christ:

2May mercy, peace, and love be yours in full measure.

False Teachers

3My dear friends, I was doing my best to write to you about the salvation we share in common, when I felt the need of writing at once to encourage you to fight on for the faith which once and for all God has given to his people. 4For some godless people have slipped in unnoticed among us, persons who distort the message about the grace of our God in order to excuse their immoral ways, and who reject Jesus Christ, our only Master and Lord. Long ago the Scriptures predicted the condemnation they have received.

5For even though you know all this, I want to remind you of how the Lord once rescued the people of Israel from Egypt, but afterwards destroyed those who did not believe. 6Remember the angels who did not stay within the limits of their proper authority, but abandoned their own dwelling place: they are bound with eternal chains in the darkness below, where God is keeping them for that great Day on which they will be condemned. 7Remember Sodom and Gomorrah, and the nearby towns, whose people acted as those angels did and indulged in sexual immorality and perversion: they suffer the punishment of eternal fire as a plain warning to all.

8In the same way also, these people have visions which make them sin against their own bodies; they despise God's authority and insult the glorious beings above. 9Not even the chief angel Michael did this. In his quarrel with the Devil, when they argued about who would have the body of Moses, Michael did not dare to condemn the Devil with insulting words, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!” 10But these people attack with insults anything they do not understand; and those things that they know by instinct, like wild animals, are the very things that destroy them. 11How terrible for them! They have followed the way that Cain took. For the sake of money they have given themselves over to the error that Balaam committed. They have rebelled as Korah rebelled, and like him they are destroyed. 12With their shameless carousing they are like dirty spots in your fellowship meals. They take care only of themselves. They are like clouds carried along by the wind, but bringing no rain. They are like trees that bear no fruit, even in autumn, trees that have been pulled up by the roots and are completely dead. 13They are like wild waves of the sea, with their shameful deeds showing up like foam. They are like wandering stars, for whom God has reserved a place for ever in the deepest darkness.

14It was Enoch, the seventh direct descendant from Adam, who long ago prophesied this about them: “The Lord will come with many thousands of his holy angels 15to bring judgement on all, to condemn them all for the godless deeds they have performed and for all the terrible words that godless sinners have spoken against him!”

16These people are always grumbling and blaming others; they follow their own evil desires; they boast about themselves and flatter others in order to get their own way.

Warnings and Instructions

17But remember, my friends, what you were told in the past by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ. 18They said to you, “When the last days come, people will appear who will mock you, people who follow their own godless desires.” 19These are the people who cause divisions, who are controlled by their natural desires, who do not have the Spirit. 20But you, my friends, keep on building yourselves up on your most sacred faith. Pray in the power of the Holy Spirit, 21and keep yourselves in the love of God, as you wait for our Lord Jesus Christ in his mercy to give you eternal life.

22Show mercy towards those who have doubts; 23save others by snatching them out of the fire; and to others show mercy mixed with fear, but hate their very clothes, stained by their sinful lusts.

Prayer of Praise

24To him who is able to keep you from falling, and to bring you faultless and joyful before his glorious presence — 25to the only God our Saviour, through Jesus Christ our Lord, be glory, majesty, might, and authority, from all ages past, and now, and for ever and ever! Amen.
